Wire Gold

This incredibly rich gold specimen displays thick and slightly flatted wires of elongated gold crystals. The crystals formed in a parallel pattern on the quartz matrix. These thick gold crystals developed curved and overlapping crystal habits which is an uncommon and rare development. The native gold runs through the quartz matrix with smaller crystals on the lower middle which starts as small flat crystals and develops larger and thicker crystal on its top. This gold specimen is a prime example of native gold from its locality.
