Long Crystallized lustorus Native Silver on Calcite matrix
Bouismas Mine, Agdz, Bou Azzer mining district, Zagora Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco
This unusual native silver specimen displays never before seen crystallization in silver related minerals -at least in my case. The crystallization appears to have grown into numerous lustrous metallic scepter crystals. Scepter crystals are usually more common in quartz crystals which is unusual that this native silver has grown into something spectacular as a scepter. Other crystal habits display elongated crystals with flattened reflective faces. This specimen in is an exceptional native silver mineral and that’s largely due to the rare and superb native silver crystallized habits.
