Platinum Crystal

Konder Massif, Ayan-Maya district, Khabarovsk Krai, Russia

This platinum crystal showcases two interlocking cubes, creating a highly aesthetic and visually striking formation. In certain areas, remnants of the original lustrous surface remain intact, indicating that this cubic crystal was exceptionally shiny while still embedded in its host rock. The sharp-edged twin cubic structure enhances the specimen's appeal and rarity. Such cubic platinum crystals are exceedingly rare and can only be found in the Kondor Massif, making each native platinum crystal truly one of a kind. This particular crystal stands out as a prime example from its locality.
