Gold Nugget with Tick Wire Gold

This beautiful rich gold nugget once displayed a thick wire gold with a crystalline surface. The native gold nugget specimen traveled thousands of years by river and slightly river-worn its long wire gold and crystalline gold surface while retaining some crystalline structure in its interior. The thick wires of gold are still visible and display the unusual and rare aesthetics this gold specimen offers. Boise Basin in 1860 had a fairly large gold rush and although large gold is a rarity to find today, this beautiful nugget displays both outstanding wire gold aesthetics with heft and a large appearance.
