Starburst Crystallized Native Silver in Calcite Matrix

Here is a beautiful example of large, crystallized starburst native silver with on calcite. The individual crystals have grown outwards to form a star shape which is unusually rare for silver. The native silver is a rich white metallic color with nice even luster and show no sign of being tarnished. On the back side of the silver there are dendritic crystals growing into the calcite matrix which only have been slightly exposed. The specimen contains a lot of silver on both sides with well crystallization in a robust white calcite matrix.
