This stunning gold specimen showcases perfectly crystallized, robust octahedral gold crystals in a twinned formation. It is the first discovery of its kind from this locality. The crystal habits surpass those of Venezuelan and Brazilian gold crystals. The octahedral crystals, numbering over eleven, are both individual and branching, with some displaying a cubic, lustrous tip growth accompanied by smaller angular crystals. The intense color and luster enhance the already exquisite specimen, which boasts exceptionally high gold purity. Finding a combination of well-defined crystals, high luster, and rich yellow color is increasingly rare. This piece is a prime example of the rare, pristine crystallized gold that this locality no longer produces in abundance.
