Native Gold Wire on Quartz

This crystallized gold specimen exhibits robust thick wire crystal of native gold on a white quartz matrix. The gold is displays striations and sections of flattened faces on the gold surface. Wire gold from this locality is incredibly rare crystal habit and often never available to obtain. The white quartz matrix makes the gold pop and complements the native gold crystal. Near the bottom of the gold crystal exhibits flattened crystals with a sharp and lustrous crystals. The gold runs through the quartz which is firmly holding the gold crystal together as one beautiful specimen.
