This exceptionally aesthetic gold crystal features a robust, well-crystallized leaf with sharp, lustrous edges. The leaf’s surface is adorned with scattered triangular and cubed gold crystals, some showing spinel-twinned formations. The gold has a richly saturated, deep honey hue, distinct from the more common pale yellow tones from this locality. Both sides of the leaf are equally striking, displaying numerous geometric crystals and sharp edges. With production from this mine ceased, such specimens are becoming increasingly rare and sought-after by collectors.
