Hoppered Octahedron Spinal Twinned Wire Gold Crystal

This very rare long wire like specimen of native gold crystal displays well defined spinal twinned crystals with multiple complex and almost elongated cubed octahedron crystals which are quite rare. The specimen is lustrous with flat buttery yellow crystals on its sides. Specimens of this quality were exhibited in the Royal Ontario Museum and this example is an older find from Hunker Creek.
