Crystallized Gold Leaf on Quartz 
Harvard Mine, Jamestown District, California 
This incredible and rare specimen from the Harvard Mine displays sharp angular bright crystal faces. The native gold travels through the quartz in some areas. The front exhibits a very bright cluster of leaf crystal with smaller crystals displayed throughout the white quartz matrix. The gold displays a rich buttery yellow color saturation with well-defined striations and complex textured surfaces in some areas of the crystal. No new specimens will be produced from this historical mine now unfortunately.
