Gold Nugget

This extraordinary gold nugget, found in the dry Sonora Desert, is an exceptionally rare mineral specimen that is typically difficult for collectors to obtain. Discovered by a local prospector in an ancient tertiary gold-bearing channel, it showcases a remarkable elongated shape with a slightly sharp tip. The nugget displays some of its original spinel twin crystal habits with good luster and smooth to slightly rugged areas on its surface. The reverse side features similarly smooth natural surfaces with a matching luster. Overall, this gold specimen is a substantial, chunky piece with a deep, saturated buttery yellow hue.
