This fascinating gold specimen exhibits an unusual shape with highly textured surface. The gold nugget displays smooth edges and a saturated buttery yellow color.  Its high purity makes it a rare collectable mineral specimen. The reverse side displays complex crystallized surface similar to a spongy surface and complex textured faces. In some areas the gold developed small lustrous flat crystals which have good luster. This specimen is a rare example of natural gold from a historical gold county.
