Gold on Quartz Matrix

This rare exceptional gold specimen is classic example of crystallized gold branching out with textured surfaces and very high luster on a white quartz matrix. The elongated branching crystals display a complex multi growth layers and striations on its flattened crystallized surfaces. Upon closer examination intricate geometric imprinted crystals are scattered throughout the robust crystals faces. Its white quartz matrix adds a perfect balance and beauty. The gold branches through and within the quartz and in certain areas of the quartz matrix the gold pokes out slightly. This gold specimen is a very good representation of this rare mine and a must have for any mineral collector.
