This outstanding gold quartz specimen boasts intricate, overlapping, and gently curved wire crystals clustered tightly together. It is exceptionally rare, especially given that the Manhattan Mine is no longer operational. The natural gold wires are visible from every angle, with shorter wire crystals adorning the back side. Dense and rich in a buttery yellow color, the specimen features minor quartz matrix interspersed among the lustrous gold crystals. In some areas, the gold has crystallized into a starburst pattern, with thick gold wires radiating outward like a star. This wire gold specimen is a prime example from this locality.
