Gold Crystal 
Forest Hill Mining District, Placer County, California
This highly aesthetic gold crystal displays perfectly crystallized robust flat crystals with sharp edges and great luster. On its leafy surface are peppered with modified flat triangular gold crystals and, in some areas, modified flattened octahedral crystal. On its upper tip consists of curved wire like crystals which overlap and intersect in complex crystallized habits. The color of the gold is very high saturation of deep buttery yellow color. Both sides of the leaf gold are equally beautiful with many geometric crystals and sharp edges.
