Dendritic Native Silver on Calcite Matrix

This large specimen consists of dendritic fragile crystals of native silver. The silver crystals are a rich metallic color with complex growth structure of numerous crystals overlapping each other. The well crystallized native silver is spread throughout the matrix with all sides having visible silver crystals. The darker common rock on the bottom and the milky white calcite give this specimen an attractive contrast.
