This robust spinel-twinned gold crystal features multiple octahedral crystals of native gold, interspersed with sharp crystallized striations characteristic of spinel-twinned growth. Most of the gold crystals are modified, with the reverse side showcasing a wire formation where the growth striations typical of spinel-twinned with flat gold crystals are more prominently visible. This rare and unique crystal gold specimen is a highly collectible mineral from a locality that seldom produces spinel-twinned wire gold crystals like this example.
