Leaf Gold Crystal

This sharply crystallized gold specimen developed some very interesting characteristics and a nice three dimensional curved shape. The gold crystal is a complete thick leaf with lustrous surfaces on both sides. Upon closer examination we can see intricate striations and complex textures surfaces. There is also secondary micro crystal growth in some areas which shine at certain angles. The color is a rich buttery yellow which is an indicator for its high purity gold content. On the reverse side unique stepped gold crystals are sharply visible which creates a highly aesthetic specimen. Gold Specimens from this locality are rare and this specimen is a great representation from its locality.
