Crystallized Gold Wire on Quartz

This highly aesthetic gold specimen features a milky white quartz with intricate and robust gold wires perched on the quartz. The crystallized gold displays a rich saturation of buttery yellow hue with lustrous surfaces. Its growth patterns are mostly modified wire crystals with sharp pointy tips with some clusters of leafy gold in between. Preserved wires of native gold on quartz are very rare because most miners pluck out the gold from the matrix rock. The milky white quartz also exhibits clear quartz points just under some areas where the gold begins to protrude from the quartz. This gold specimen is a prime example from its locality.
