Crystallized Gold
Original 16-1 Mine Alleghany Mining District, Sierra County, California
This gold specimen is the largest single crystallized gold we have to offer from the famous Original 16-1 Mine. It's laced with hundreds of crystallized native gold on its surface together with larger more robust formations. Usually, larger gold examples that comes from this mine are rare and not available to collectors. On its tip there are dendritic crystals branches pointing downwards with smaller angular cubic gold surrounding it above its surface. Its an incredibly heavy solid gold specimen and quite large making it a impressive display mineral specimen. Specimens like these just don't come from this nowadays from my perspective. Overall, an incredible specimen with sharp aesthetics, well crystallized, and beautiful shape. Ex Bryant Harris Collection.
