This extraordinary gold specimen, discovered in the arid Sonora Desert, is a highly rare locality find, often elusive for collectors. Unearthed by a local prospector in a rich quartz vein embedded with gold crystals, this specimen boasts an exceptionally high gold purity of 94-96%. Its crystal faces exhibit a striking luster with sharp, pointy tips and clusters of buttery yellow, dendritic robust crystals in certain areas. The opposite side features branching crystals of high-purity native gold on a translucent quartz matrix. This specimen is a rare example of pure crystalline natural gold, found in only a handful of places on Earth.
