Crystallized gold is rare from Australia and this specimen displays both crystallized aesthetics and very high luster. This native gold displays a complex crystallography with interwoven growth and leafy appearance. Nearly every area of the native gold specimen displays a rich color and very high luster. The native gold is perched on a slightly gray quartz matrix which is believed to have some galena which is very unusual for its locality.
