The Colorado Quartz Mine is world famous amongst mineral collectors and produces one of the better crystallized gold specimens of any locality. This rare specimen is a unique example of elongated lustrous native gold with many striations and flattened crystals on its surfaces. The gold specimen is complex and three-dimensional wire like structure with right angled chunky crystals shown all throughout. Every angle of the specimen is its own unique aesthetics and makes for a great display specimen on either side. Native gold from this historic mine is a must have for any mineral collector.
