Crystallized Gold on Limonite

This highly aesthetic gold specimen features a highly crystallized surface with angular and geometric flat crystal habits. The native gold reflects good luster from its flat robust crystal faces. The gold is a surprisingly high purity over 93% from this locality with the color on its surface displaying a rich buttery yellow hue. Crystallized gold with such high purity is only found in a handful of places on earth making this gold specimen a rarity. On the bottom of the gold specimen a small matrix attached called limonite which is a natural iron rich oxide mineral. This gold specimen is a prime example for its locality.
