Crystallized Gold Leaf on Quartz 
Oriental Mine, Alleghany District, Sierra County, California 
This incredible and rare specimen from the Donald Dickey collection displays sharp angular bright crystal faces. The native gold travels through the quartz and is visible on all sides of the matrix with leafy aesthetics and buttery yellow color saturation. Various areas of the leaf crystals exhibit striations and flat crystal faces, some forming clusters while other areas being veins of leaf gold crystals. No new specimens will be produced from this historical mine now unfortunately.
