Gold Crystals on Quartz

The native gold crystals this specimen displays are highly dendritic and slightly fragile. With bright buttery yellow gold crystals pop out from the white quartz matrix. This specimen is very rich and the gold is visible on all sides of the matrix. This is a prime example of a historical gold mining locality for the mineral collector.
