This incredible crystallized gold specimen exhibits a sharp angular heavy crystal with lustrous faces. The crystallized gold displays a small amount of white quartz on matrix. The sharply formed gold crystals show striations of horizontal stepped growth on nearly every crystal known as a hopper effect. The crystal growth of this hoppered gold crystal is incredibly rare and often never available to collectors. In some areas the gold developed into a spinel twin with modified octahedral and cubic crystal habits. The outer edges of the native gold are slightly worn while the interior shows excellent crystallization and bright luster under light. This crystallized gold specimen is a prime example for its locality.
