Crystalline Native Gold on Quartz 
East Range, Pershing County, Nevada  
This crystallized gold specimen is a rare find from a locality that does not produce anymore fine specimens such as this one. The gold displays thick crystal clusters spread throughout the matrix and beautifully integrated with the quartz making this specimen very dense for its size. Most of the gold crystals are lustrous with geometric surfaces. Some areas are the gold developed robust crystals while other areas formed leafy smaller clusters of native gold. The gold is a very high purity due to its saturated yellow color and brilliance.
