This highly aesthetic gold crystal showcases perfectly crystallized, robust, flat gold crystals in a unique striated growth. The gold crystal habits are exceptional, representing some of the finest crystallized gold featuring mirror like dendritic crystals branching out from its sides. The intense well crystallized specimen is similar to a gem and very few crystals develop incredible aesthetics such as this example. The combination of well-defined crystals, high luster, and a saturated yellow color is increasingly rare. Attached to the gold is a white quartz matrix with some oxides imbedded in the quartz on its side. This specimen is a prime example of rare gold from a locality that no longer produces pristine crystallized gold as it once did.
