Crystal Gold on Quartz

This highly aesthetic gold specimen features perfectly crystallized, robust gold crystals with unique striated growth. The crystal habits are exceptional, displaying some of the finest mirror-like dendritic formations branching out from its sides. This intensely well-crystallized specimen is gem-like, with few crystals achieving such remarkable aesthetics. The combination of well-defined crystals, high luster, and saturated yellow color is increasingly rare. The gold is attached to a white quartz matrix with some oxides embedded in the quartz on its side. This piece is a prime example of rare gold from a locality that no longer produces such pristine crystallized gold as it once did.
