Pallasites are a variety of stony-iron Meteorites, and in some rare examples contain gemmy crystals of Olivine. This impressive meteorite slice is breathtaking when backlit and beautifully displays its intense crystals of green to golden green colors in the nickel iron matrix. It's becoming rapidly rare to find an admire meteorite slice with dark green olivine crystals as big and with as many clear crystals of green to golden green such as this example. Its metallic surface of this 4.5-billion year old Admire Meteorite is mirror polished to a perfect shine creating a reflection of yourself when examining the specimen.
