My name is Art Zakarian founder of StellarRite.com a platform mainly dedicated to sourcing and offering fine mineral specimens to collectors and enthusiasts around the world. A desire for collecting minerals of nature's art started very early in my childhood middle school years where I would read mostly every mineral magazine afterschool I could get my hands on. During this time, I started building my own collection by trading crystal specimens with fellow students. While I developed a fascination for various minerals, I found myself particularly captivated by natural gold specimens. However, these rare gold specimens were often difficult to come by. This all changed in 2018 when I visited Ketchikan, Alaska, and came across a stunning crystallized gold specimen in a family-owned mineral shop. It was the size of a golf ball, adorned with delicate leafy crystals and shimmering, lustrous surfaces. That encounter marked a pivotal moment in my collecting journey, and my passion for gold specimens deepened significantly. By 2021, my objective had branched into something more than personal collecting. I wanted to create a platform that made it easy for both experienced collectors and those new to the hobby to acquire rare and remarkable mineral specimens. StellarRite.com was born from that vision, offering a curated selection of nature's finest works of art to anyone who shares this passion for the beauty and wonder of minerals.
